Working Equitation with Sharlotte Hughes at Badger Farm, Chichester 1 February 2025
Working equitation clinic with a full set of obstacles. All levels, breeds and disciplines very welcome.
Groups can be in-hand or ridden.
Whether you are competing or looking to supplement your training, Working Equitation is an incredibly interesting, fun, friendly and versatile sport. It consists of three phases, a dressage test, ease of handling (a marked test whilst completing the obstacles) and a speed round whilst completing the obstacles.
The obstacles are to test the horse and riders ability to work together, their bravery, flexibility and how beautiful they are. It starts from in hand or ridden walk and trot up to the highest level of dressage. The obstacles are so benificial not just for fun but getting your horse on the aids, improving their suppleness, bravery and engagement.
