Clinic or Day Camp Checklist
For your horse
- Passport (this should always travel with your horse)
- All Tack suitable for the disciplines being ridden
- Numnah/s
- Boots/Bandages (if used)
- Water and Hay
- Fly Spray
- Skip (to clear up any droppings)
- Possibly a Light Feed for between riding if necessary
- Wash Off Kit
- Rug(s) (if needed - a waterproof one is always handy)
For you
- Riding Hat - Skull Cap for XC
- Body Protector (compulsory for XC - make sure its up to current standards)
- Air Jacket (if you wish to wear one for XC or any other discipline)
- Riding Boots and Gloves
- Whip (if needed)
- Spurs (if needed)
- If Lunch is being provided, please bring a Chair, Plate, Cutlery and a Cup
Overnight Camp Checklist
For your horse
- Passport (this should always travel with your horse)
- All Tack suitable for the disciplines being ridden
- Numnah/s
- Boots/Bandages (if used)
- Grooming Kit
- Hay and Hard Feed, Electrolytes (if needed)
- Fly Spray
- Water and Feed Bucket
- Mucking Out Equipment, Wheelbarrow, Fork, Broom
- Wash Off Kit
- Rug(s) (if needed)
- First Aid Kit for your Horse
For you
- Sleeping Accommodation (ie, Horse Box, Trailer, Tent, Caravan).
- Bed and Bedding (ie, Camp Bed, Inflatable Mattress, Duvet, Sleeping Bag, Pillows etc.)
- Riding Clothes, enough for the time away, plus extra in case you get Wet, Hot or Weather changes
- Suncream
- Riding Hat - Skull Cap for XC
- Body Protector (Compulsory for XC make sure its up to current standards)
- Air Jacket (if you wish to wear one for XC or any other discipline)
- Waterproofs (if needed)
- Coat
- Change of clothes. Comfy for evening and something warm in case the temperature drops
- Towel and Wash Bag
- Riding Boots and Gloves, Whip and Spurs (if needed)
- Casual Shoes/Boots/Trainers
- Snacks in case you get hungry and any alcohol you wish to bring!!
- Please bring a Chair, Plate, Cutlery and a Cup!
