An entertaining and insightful evening with Alan Hiscox, former Chief Equitation Officer for the Metropolitan Police Mounted Branch and Director of Safety at the British Horse Society.

Alan shares captivating stories from his 32-year policing career—27 of which were spent in the Mounted Branch. From ceremonial duties and high-profile public events to major disorder incidents and international training seminars, Alan’s experiences shed light on the passion, skill, and humour involved in life as a mounted officer.

You’ll also learn how police horses are trained and the extraordinary work they carry out on the streets of London every day.
